I enjoy
raising Toy Poodles because of their notable high intelligence and mild temperament
which makes these little treasures easy to train. Also, Toy Poodles do not shed and
are hypoallergenic. People who have allergies to dogs and cats can usually own a
Toy
Poodle without difficulty. Because Toy Poodles have no body dander, fur or odor,
they are perfect gentlemen and ladies in your home. Toy Poodles are mild mannered,
yet protective, they are great family watchdogs, yet wonderful with children. I
am striving to improve the Toy Poodle breed by breeding for health, agility, and
temperance.
A
properly socialized puppy will blend more easily into a new home, this is
why our Toy Poodle puppies are raised indoors in the comfort of my home. My husband and my
children, who love these little guys as much as I do, take an active role in
caring for the puppies, especially when it comes to socialization and exercise.
To aid in the transition from my home to yours, I will send a stuffed animal
with them and a blanket that has their siblings scent, This can be of great
comfort to these little guys since they are very lonesome at first, especially
at night. To make transition as smooth as possible, I recommend using the same dog food (NUTRO) that I start them on if
at all possible. I feel that NUTRO is the best dog food made available today.
Most of my puppies are ready to leave at 8 weeks,
and will have been wormed & up to date on all shots. All of my puppies are
AKC registered. They will be free of
fleas and ticks. I will send each puppy with a copy of their own health
certificate from my own veterinarian, but I also require that you take the puppy
to be checked by your own veterinarian for your own protection. I
will ship US Air anywhere within the continental US, from Greenville/Spartanburg
airport in South Carolina. The cost is $170.00 and is paid for by the buyer. I
will furnish the crate. I require a $250.00 non refundable deposit on each
puppy. Remaining balance
is due before the puppies will be shipped. I will not ship Teacup or Tiny Toy
puppies until they are around 3 months because of the transition and stress on
these little ones.
Puppies
also need a lot of sleep time or they will become stressed. Please make sure
your puppy always has plenty of fresh water and food, and that they are eating
it. I recommend a nice sized bed of their own where it is quiet, but also where there
is enough activity that they do not feel abandoned. I do not recommend Tiny-Toy
Poodles or Teacup Poodles for families with small children.
Sincerely,
Sharen Lester
